This catalogue accompanies FIAT-IFTA’s global initiative
and exhibition A Manifesto of Visibility and Voice,
extending its ideas beyond the exhibition itself. Conceived
as an open publication, it brings together a range of
perspectives developed within the project.
Rather than concluding the exhibition, it continues its
conversations through a combination of texts and images
that can be read sequentially, in fragments, or revisited
over time. As such, the catalogue extends the exhibition
into
a
form
that
remains
open
to
return
and
reinterpretation.
It encourages a slower, more attentive engagement,
approaching visibility and voice as fluid and shifting
conditions rather than fixed states.
The contributing artists understand visibility as both a right
and a responsibility - an act of being seen, while remaining
attentive to what is often overlooked.
Ultimately, the publication offers a space for reflection on
how presence and expression are shaped in contemporary
experience.
